NON QUESTE ACQUE

A narrative about cultural apocalypses, set to music like a post-industrial ritual.

Produced in the early months of 2025, "Non queste acque" was born out of the desire to create an immersive sonic experience—one that is, as much as possible, different from conventional formats. It is closer to a film without images than to a podcast or an audiobook. Here, the relationship between music and spoken word ranges from a classic narrative counterpoint to, at times, a complete musical fusion, rooted in ambient and post-industrial aesthetics.

"Non queste acque" is a four-part audio-narrative adaptation of a work by Luca Scotto di Clemente, inspired by extensive field research conducted throughout Southeast Asia. Starting from the theme of war, it explores the connection between memory, pain, and the collective unconscious.

For this project, I handled the original score, sound design, editing, and post-production.
